More from Susanne

I present for your approval two more poems by my friend Susanne. Again, I pause only to say, she is an amazing young woman with a tremendous amount of really crazy/taxing/heartrending stuff going on in her life lately. I wish I could make it all better for her, but unfortunately, all I can do is give her another forum and revel in the creativity born of her distress. God luvs ya, Susanne, and so do your friends!

now you know...
Current mood: crushed
Category: Writing and Poetrynow you know

what, you say, are you thinking?
my mind wanders aimlessly
processing the words and wondering
what to say.

time tramples past me
leaving me in it's wake
bubbling madness always at the brim
of my cup that's overflowing.

overwhelmed i reach for salvation
my hands crack and bleed
they are as i would have them
foreign blood running through them.

what, you say, are you thinking?
my heart pumps persistently
willing me to keep breathing
beckoning me to go on.

whirling shades of darkness
entreating ever pushing onward
light hearkens, haulting only at my request
my fragile state it's master.

when will this weight be lifted?
when will we stop aching?
when will this world stop hurting?
when will life stop crushing?

waiting
waiting
waiting

these hands
Current mood: vexedthese hands

these hands
what they touch
they destroy

these hands
what they hold
they mock

these hands
what they feel
they reject

these hands
what they seek
they waste

these hands
these hands are mine
these hands belong to You
